Tabseer Organizes a Virtual Workshop on the Requirements for Obtaining the Saudi Quality Mark for Electrical Extension Cords

Tabseer is organizing a virtual workshop on the requirements for obtaining the Saudi Quality Mark for electrical extension cords within the Low-Voltage Electrical Equipment and Devices sector. The workshop will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 (10 Muharram 1448 AH), at 11:00 AM Riyadh time.

The workshop will cover several key topics, including an introduction to the Saudi Quality Mark, the requirements for obtaining it, the customer journey toward certification, factory audit visits and technical file reviews, the Saudi national deviations to SASO Standard No. 2815, as well as Tabseer’s role in supporting manufacturers throughout the certification process.

The session will be led by Eng. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Maliki, Head of Audit Team and a SASO-approved auditor for plugs, switches, electrical extension cords, and cable management systems.

Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Maliki also serves as IECEE Certification Manager and is a SASO-approved expert in product conformity assessment for both the Saudi Quality Mark and IECEE certification schemes for electrical products.
