Tabseer Hosts Virtual Workshop on Saudi Quality Mark Requirements for Steel Products

Tabseer is hosting a virtual workshop focused on the requirements for obtaining the Saudi Quality Mark for rebar and iron sheets in the construction and building materials sector. The session will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026 (7 Shawwal 1447 AH), at 11:00 AM (Riyadh time).

The workshop will cover key topics, including an overview of the Saudi Quality Mark and its benefits, the applicable standards for rebar and iron sheets, and the full set of requirements for certification. It will also highlight Tabseer’s role as a conformity assessment body.

The session will be led by Dr. Islam Mansour, Technical Director and expert at Tabseer. With over 14 years of experience in testing and inspecting chemical products, he holds a PhD in Chemistry from Ain Shams University. Dr. Mansour has also served in several roles with the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), including lead auditor, technical expert in chemical and construction materials, member of the Saudi Quality Mark review committee, and contributor to technical committees responsible for developing standards for plastic products.
