Saudi-Egyptian Industrial Forum in Riyadh Strengthens Integration and Partnership Across Key Sectors

Saudi-Egyptian Industrial Forum in Riyadh Strengthens Integration and Partnership
The Saudi-Egyptian Industrial Forum has commenced in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef. The event has gathered over 300 leading industrialists and investors from both nations, alongside some high-ranking officials, including the Deputy Minister for Industrial Affairs, Engineer Khalil bin Salama.
Organized collaboratively by the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Federation of Egyptian Industries, the forum aims to bolster industrial cooperation and strategic integration between the Kingdom and Egypt across five key sectors: pharmaceuticals, automotive, construction materials, textiles, and food industries. This focus aligns with the priorities of the Kingdom’s National Industrial Strategy.
Participants emphasized the significance of supporting initiatives such as “Made in Saudi Arabia,” “Factories of the Future,” and “Made in Egypt,” as well as expanding industrial partnerships to encompass promising markets, particularly the African market. Investment opportunities linked to the Kingdom’s plans to establish approximately 24,000 new factories over the next decade were also highlighted.
The forum is considered a new strategic milestone in strengthening economic relations between the two countries and broadening the horizons of industrial partnership. It seeks to serve mutual interests and address global challenges and changes.
