Tabseer Organizes Virtual Workshop on OXO-Biodegradable Plastic Logo Requirements

Tabseer Company is set to host a virtual workshop on the requirements for obtaining the OXO-biodegradable plastic logo for plastic products.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM Riyadh time (Rabi’ al-Awwal 5, 1447 AH)

The workshop will cover several key discussion points, including an introduction to the conformity certificate for oxo-biodegradable plastic products, the requirements for obtaining the certificate, the customer journey to acquire it, and the main challenges faced by factories during the process.

The discussion will be led by Dr. Islam Mansour, Director and Technical Expert at Tabseer Company. Dr. Mansour has over 14 years of experience in the inspection and testing of chemical products. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from Ain Shams University and has held several notable positions, including Head of the Auditors Team, Auditor, and Technical Expert for numerous chemical and building materials at the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).

He also served as a member of the review committee for granting the Saudi Quality Mark and a member of the technical committee for issuing standard specifications for plastic products at SASO.
