Saudi Arabia to Host Regular World Economic Forum Global Meeting in 2026
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the World Economic Forum in Davos have announced that they will host a regular high-level World Economic Forum (WEF) global meeting in Riyadh, with the first slated for Spring 2026.
The announcement came during the final day of the 55th Annual Meeting of the Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in the presence of His Excellency Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim, the Minister of Economy and Planning, and Børge Brende.
The meeting will serve as a vital platform for global leaders, experts, policy- and decision-makers from diverse fields including the public and private sectors, academia, international organisations, and civil society to discuss global issues and challenges, and enhance cooperation to achieve comprehensive development.
This highlights the Kingdom’s leadership in promoting global dialogue and its pivotal role in bridging advanced and developing economies, addressing shared challenges, and fostering opportunities for meaningful collaboration.
It is expected to become a globally significant event, enhancing Riyadh’s position as a bridge linking East and West, North and South, and confirming its role as a model for dialogue and joint action worldwide.
