Egypt’s Dr. Khaled Soufi, Chairman of the Egyptian Standards and Quality Organization, expressed gratitude to various organizations for their support in Egypt’s victory in the presidency of the International Organization for Standardization.

 Additionally, Egypt is the first Arab country to run for and win this position, and it will be held on the sidelines of the annual meeting ISO ANNUAL 2024 in Colombia.

 These accomplishments were highlighted during a workshop on Egyptian exports’ technical requirements for entering the Saudi market, in collaboration with Tabseer Company. The Arab Emirates also won membership in the ISO Board of Directors, represented by Her Excellency Dr. Farah Al-Zarouni, Assistant Undersecretary for the Standards and Legislation Sector at the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
