Saudi Arabia and Egypt Strengthen Economic Ties 

The Saudi Shura Council has approved a landmark agreement designed to encourage and protect mutual investments between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt. This decision, made under the leadership of Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, aligns with a broader set of economic agreements signed during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Egypt in October 2024.

The agreement is part of ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation and is complemented by the establishment of the “Egyptian-Saudi Supreme Coordination Council.” Economic relations between the two nations have seen significant growth in recent years, bolstered by strategic partnerships and joint investment projects that reflect the strong historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. This new agreement aims to further solidify the framework for future collaborations, benefiting both economies.
